The eve of a brand-new Formula 1 season is one of the year’s most exciting times. The anticipation of discovering which teams have done the best job at scaling the pecking order over the winter, and conversely, which teams have the most work to do?
Predicting the final constructors’ championship results pre-Melbourne is never more than the art of guesswork but in the name of fun, I’ve had a go anyway.
Here is my predicted pecking order for F1’s 2018 season;
You may be sat reading what is primarily an F1 site wondering what this is all about, but variety is the spice of life. In 2017, rather than simply analyse and enthuse about one series, it’s high time I broaden my horizons. After all, I watch, enjoy and admire far more motorsport series than just F1.
Unquestionably, one of the most underrated series on the planet is our domestic touring cars. The British Touring Car Championship is frenetic. Bumper-to-bumper racing courtesy of a grid featuring a fascinating blend of youth and experience, on some truly brilliant race circuits.

However, one fundamental question has been at the forefront of all F1 related discussions; can Mercedes, who dominated the 2014 campaign with an unrelenting grip, be toppled in 2015?
